Anne Ossewaarde is a Senior Director of Asset Management for the Multi-Housing Group. In this capacity she manages a nationwide portfolio of multi-family investment properties.
Ms. Ossewaarde has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, she was an Executive Director and Principal for Morgan Stanley/Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Inc. In this capacity, she managed almost 30,000 garden, mid-rise and CBD high-rise multi-family units with value of more than $3.5 billion, and played a key asset management role in the public-to-private REIT acquisitions of more than 40,000 units valued at $3.6 billion.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Ms. Ossewaarde held several real estate portfolio and asset management positions, including as a Vice President at UBS Brinson Realty Investors LLP, where she was responsible for asset management for a large multi-family and office portfolio, and as a Vice President at AEGON USA Realty Management, Inc./Landauer Realty Advisors, where she managed an investment, private REIT and REO portfolio, consisting of retail, office, industrial, hotel and multi-family properties.
Ms. Ossewaarde earned a B.A. degree in Finance from Emory University, an M.B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Texas and an M.S. in Real Estate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology . Ms. Ossewaarde has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Multi-Family Housing Council.
